Happy Holidays 2007!

Welcome to our family blog! Please be sure to add this site to your 'favorites' enabling you to easily access it anytime without having to remember the lengthy URL--that's website address for you non-techie types. We will post photos, announcements, goofy stories and general life happenings each month. This is an easy way to stay connected throughout the year withour clogging email accounts with photos and lengthy emails...and as you all know, i tend to get a bit 'winded'...more so with my infamous voice mail messages. :) We are planning to spend Christmas in Virginia during the weekend before Christmas. This will be the first year, since Griffin was born, that we have traveled north during the holidays and the boys are quite excited to go snowboarding at Giants Ridge (Griffin thinks he can do anything Keegan does--he'll be on skis)and snowmobiling at Grandma and Grandpa's house. They also look forward to spending time with their Great Grandma Meena (Doris) and Great Grandma Josie...lucky boys have 4 Grandmas! We will come home for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so we dont miss Santa stopping at our house. We have a tradition of the boys and I baking Santa cookies and leaving carrots for the reindeer. Because our chimney is so long, we leave the front door open for Santa each year and wouldnt you know it, those crazy reindeer poop all over our front steps and our sidewalk--everytime! One year, there was a set of bells, along with Reindeer poop, on the front step. We figured it must have fallen off of one of the reindeer so we called Santa and Keegan was able to speak with him! He told him he was calling to thank him for all of his gifts and to let him know we had his bells. Santa realized that they were Rudolph's lost bells! He told Keegan that he may keep Rudolph's bells as a very special gift. Keegan places Rudolph's bells on our tree each year and is still amazed that he has Rudolph's ACTUAL bells...'can you believe it, Mom?' No, Keegan, I can't. ;) I hope they continue to 'believe' for a few more years. I will upload Christmas photos and videos and and update after the first of the year. I will do my best to keep this updated monthly. Happy Holidays!
